Traditionally, you would receive a physical appointment notice in the mail, indicating the date and time for your biometrics appointment. The Old Old Way: Calling USCIS Call Center

In the past, if you needed to reschedule your biometrics appointment, your only option was to reach out to the USCIS call center. Unfortunately, this method wasn’t always the most efficient. Waiting on hold and navigating through the call center’s procedures could be time-consuming and frustrating, especially when you have a busy schedule to manage.

The New and Improved: Online Rescheduling

But guess what? USCIS has taken a step towards enhancing user experience by introducing an online platform for rescheduling biometrics appointments in select cases.
